Claire Richardson is a resilience and disaster recovery leader with more than 20 years of experience helping communities recover, rebuild, and adapt to future risks. Her expertise spans FEMA Public Assistance, hazard mitigation, climate adaptation, resilient infrastructure, and long-term recovery planning for federal, state, territorial, and local governments across the United States and Caribbean.

Throughout her career, Claire has supported some of the nation’s most significant disaster recovery efforts, including Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Irma, Maria, Michael, and Matthew. She has led recovery and resilience initiatives for organizations including FEMA, the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the City of New Orleans, the City of New York, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, helping clients navigate complex funding, compliance, and rebuilding requirements.

With advanced degrees in both Civil Engineering and Disaster Resilience Leadership, Claire combines technical expertise with strategic vision to help communities strengthen infrastructure, reduce future risk, and build lasting resilience in the face of evolving climate and disaster challenges.
